  My name is Lacee Kountz. I am a self taught jewelry designer & creator. My love for creating jewelry stems from my childhood. My parents (especially my Mother) always encouraged me to use my creative side. From a young age my Mother guided me in learning new talents and supported me in whatever new craft or hobby that sparked an interest. 

  In 2009 I was living in Washington state and working in retail management. I was feeling very separated from my Montana roots when my Mother suggested I take up jewelry making again. I started with bead work but then I was introduced to PMC metal clay! That's where my love of working with metals all began! I'm constantly learning new metal smithing skills and always refining the skills I've acquired over the years. Currently, I love creating with sterling silver and copper material.

 

  In addition to my jewelry business, I am also a 5th generation Montana cattle rancher. While working most every aspect of the family ranch life, I mostly enjoy working cattle while riding my good horse.

   I also own and operate a wedding and event venue called the Copper K Barn just outside of Whitehall, MT. The venue is only open seasonally which allows me to do most of my jewelry creating in the winter months.

  You'll notice when you look though my jewelry collection that I use a lot of bible verses and inspirational quotes. I love making pieces that can actually talk to a persons soul with the purpose of bringing them love and light as they wear it.
